The Law regulates the administrative procedure that governs, in general, the administrative activity of the subjects included in its scope of application; the rights and duties of persons in their relations with these subjects, within the scope of said activity; the validity and effectiveness of administrative actions; the administrative sanctioning procedure; the system of patrimonial responsibility for damages or losses caused unduly by directors, officials and employees of the State due to the exercise of the functions inherent to their positions; and the challenge in the administrative channel of the administrative actions.
Law 167 on the System for Responding to Complaints and Petitions from Individuals regulates the structure and operation of the system for responding to complaints and petitions from individuals to authorities, directors, officials and employees of the State; as well as to non-state natural or legal persons who provide services, functions or exercise public powers, in accordance with their assignment or corporate purpose.
Law 162 on Social Communication regulates the Social Communication System for the strategic and integrated management of social communication processes in the organizational, media and community spheres, for political, public good, organizational and commercial purposes, in public spaces, whether physical or digital, and establishes the principles of organization and operation for all social communication media in the country.
