Yudi Mercedes visits our business group.

Yudí Mercedes Rodríguez Hernández, a member of the Party Central Committee, made a working visit to the Maritime Port Business Group (GEMAR), where he held a productive meeting with Roberto Ricardo Marrero, General Director of OSDE, and the Deputy Director of the GEA Automotive Business Group. The meeting was held to assess the current status of maritime transportation to and from the Special Municipality of Isla de la Juventud, as well as the quality of services received by the population.

During the exchange, the Government's Projections implemented by both business groups were analyzed in depth, addressing crucial topics such as the improvement of maritime and automotive infrastructure, workers' working conditions, addressing public complaints, and the efficiency of port operations.

Yudi Mercedes reaffirmed the priority that the Party and the Government place on the development of these essential services, particularly in special territories like Isla de la Juventud, where maritime transportation constitutes a vital link for the economy and social life. This meeting allowed for the identification of challenges and the development of more effective strategies to guarantee a stable, high-quality service, in line with planned investments.
