Maritime Port Worker's Day celebrated on June 14.

At the first rays of dawn, our sector dressed up to celebrate Maritime Port Workers' Day, a political and cultural event held at the TRANSCARGO CADC (Central Committee of the Central Committee of the Workers' Union).
We were joined by: Deputy Prime Minister Jorge Luis Tapia Fonseca; Yudí Mercedes Rodríguez (member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee); Ulises Guilarte de Nacimiento (Secretary General of the CTC); the Governor of Havana, Yanet Hernández Pérez; Tamara Valido Benítez (President of the ANPP Services Commission); Raydel Montesinos (Rector of the UCI); the Minister of Transport, Eduardo Rodríguez Dávila; executives from OSDE GEMAR and its companies; union members; relatives of the victims of the *Vapor La Coubre*; and our retirees, together weaving a bridge between the glorious past and the promising future.
Under the motto "Happiness comes from continuous and numerous work," the "Aracelio Iglesias Medal" was presented and a tribute was paid to colleagues with 20-25 years of uninterrupted service, careers that Guilarte de Nacimiento praised for their dedication.
Ship Officer Patricia Zamora, representing our workers on this occasion, highlighted the importance of this date and congratulated the entire sector on this memorable day.
And yes! Our GEMAR Group shone with special recognitions for TRANSCARGO, its workers, and Empresa de Servicios Portuarios Occidente.
Rodríguez Dávila, in his remarks, honored our workers for their important work, urging them to increase efficiency and train young people, as the future lies within them, while paying tribute to Maceo and Che Guevara on their birthdays.
Katia Labrada Vidal (SNTTP Secretary) closed the event, emphasizing that every company must continue to do its part to achieve continued success: today, every grain of sand became a mountain.
Congratulations, colleagues! We continue building the future with united ports and committed hearts.
