Unloading of wheat flour for the regulated family basket began in the port of Havana.

In the port of Havana, a wheat flour unloading operation began over the weekend to support deliveries of the regulated family basket, reported the Minister of the Food Industry, Alberto López Díaz, on his account on the social network X.
The minister specified that, at the same time, the operations of the wheat milling process are maintained in the Cienfuegos Cereals Base Business Unit.
In this regard, he reported that, in addition, "in the next few hours a ship will arrive with more than 20,000 tons of wheat that will allow the mills in the capital and Santiago de Cuba to operate."
Recently, in the space From the Presidency, the Minister of Internal Trade, Betsy Díaz Velázquez, reported that “in the coming days there will be a notable improvement” in the supply of bread “with the arrival and payment of freight to two ships that load flour of wheat and with the upcoming arrival of three ships with wheat, which will revitalize production in our mills.”
