Visit to the port and shipyard in Cienfuegos by the Minister of Tourism and Directors of OSDE GEMAR.

In order to materialize a linkage project between MINTUR and MITRANS for the best development of the transfer of general, liquid and refrigerated cargo to Cayo Largo del Sur, a visit was made to the headquarters of the Empresa de Servicios Portuarios Centro in the province of Cienfuegos on Saturday, January 18, 2025, by the Minister of Tourism, Juan Carlos García Granda, President of Gran Caribe and Roberto Ricardo Marrero, General Director of the Grupo Empresarial Maritimo Portuario, accompanied by executives of OSDE GEMAR. During the tour, they met with the authorities of the Government of this province and checked the facilities that will be dedicated to the base of storage logistics, the port equipment that will be used in operations and the Railway Loading and Unloading Center.
