Cabañas Bay Shipyard Remodeling Project.

Remodeling and equipping the existing facilities in the shipyard to develop the construction of pleasure boats up to 30 meters in length and provide reconstruction, maintenance, repair and conversion services for small and medium-sized vessels; aimed at the national market and recreational boat traffic in the area of the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea. Expected results: 1. Maximize the export of services from the repair of foreign pleasure boats and the construction of catamarans for nautical activities and transportation of tourists and passengers in the region. 2. Promote the timely assurance of services to tourism pleasure boats in relation to the repairs and maintenance of steel, fiberglass, aluminum boats and the national auxiliary fleet. 3. Modernize and repair the existing equipment and facilities in the shipyard to increase the use of current capacities.
